Basic Job Functions:The Color Conduit Loader/Unloader will operate tube loading/unloading equipment in conjunction with the color conduit line operator. The incumbent is routinely exposed to mill conditions including but not limited to dust, grease, noise, heat and cold. Record production and scrap data into the system accurately Load/unload tube onto the line for processing Monitor line operation and record material data Maintain quality through inspection of tube and documentation of defects Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Demonstrated desire to control costs, minimize waste, and achieve maximum return on investment for the facility
- Understanding of proper product identification
- Must know basic English reading, writing, and math skills
Nice To Haves
- Industrial or mechanical experience preferred
- High tolerance to heat
