About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: NPPA – Gastroenterology, Otolaryngology, or Primary Care • Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time • Location: Mountain Home, AR • Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic with Limited Inpatient Rounding (ENT Only) • Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daytime Clinic Hours • Start Date: Negotiable PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE • Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric (Pediatrics may apply in Primary Care setting) • Average Daily Volume / Census: Typical clinic volumes based on specialty; details provided during interview process • Admissions & Rounding: Limited inpatient rounding required for ENT position; Not Included for Gastroenterology and Primary Care • Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes • Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: • Gastroenterology: General GI conditions, preventive care, chronic disease management • Otolaryngology: ENT evaluations, follow-up care, and collaborative surgical support • Primary Care: Comprehensive primary care services including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS • Beds in Department/Unit: 268-bed acute care facility • EMR System: Hospital EMR system (details available upon request) • Specialty Backup: Multispecialty medical and surgical support available • Support Staff: • ENT Clinic: 1 ENT Physician, 1 Audiologist, and 1 additional APP • Gastroenterology Clinic: 2 Physicians and 1 additional APP • Primary Care Clinic: Collaborative team of Physicians and APPs • Leadership & Reporting Structure: Employed position within hospital medical staff structure • Reason for Opening: Growth and expansion of specialty and primary care services CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE • Board Requirements: National certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant • DEA & Certifications: Active DEA (if required by specialty) and applicable certifications • Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital credentialing timeline COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS • Base Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience • Relocation Assistance: Available (details provided during recruitment process) • CME Allowance: CME allowance provided • PTO & Holidays: Generous PTO package • Health & Retirement Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision coverage • Retirement plan options • Life & Disability coverage • Malpractice insurance coverage REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS • Board Status: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant • State License Required: Active Arkansas license or eligibility to obtain • Certifications: Specialty-appropriate certifications and life support credentials as required • Experience: Relevant clinical experience preferred • Additional Requirements: Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary environment DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide high-quality outpatient clinical care within assigned specialty • Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care • Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service line growth COMMUNITY & LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS • About the Area: Mountain Home is located in the scenic Ozark Mountains of North Central Arkansas, offering a welcoming community with small-town charm and access to modern healthcare resources. • Local Attractions: Two pristine lakes, three rivers, extensive hiking and biking trails, and multiple golf courses provide year-round outdoor recreation. • School System: Excellent public and private school options serving the region. • Housing: Affordable housing with a low cost of living and diverse neighborhood options. • Demographic & Professional Profile: Family-friendly community with low crime rates and outstanding quality of life. • Nearby Cities: Approximately 2.5 hours from Little Rock, AR and Springfield, MO. • Nearest Airport: Boone County Airport (Harrison, AR) and Springfield-Branson National Airport (Springfield, MO) • Distance from Airport: Approximately 1–1.5 hours by car depending on airport selected

Requirements

  • Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Arkansas license or eligibility to obtain
  • Specialty-appropriate certifications and life support credentials as required
  • Relevant clinical experience preferred
