As a Locator, your work is vital to insuring our crews work safely by locating and marking the existing natural gas and sewer facilities.
Requirements
- 1+ years prior customer service experience
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
- Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
- Join and maintain Union membership
Responsibilities
- Field mark customer Natural Gas Facilities for internal construction crews
- Receive and manage customer phone calls
- Coordinate activities to resolve customer complaints and issues
- Gather and record sewer lateral depth measurements in residential and commercial areas via push rod, tape measure, and sonde
- Provide a detailed address list of non-discovered sewer laterals requiring alternate means of discovery
- Provide daily and weekly production data reports
- Post informational door tags/letters notifying residents of our inspection procedures
- Coordinate with contractors to provide additional sewer lateral inspections as required
- Obtain and maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
- Other tasks as requested by leadership
