About The Position

Adesta, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Locator. RESPONSIBILITIES: Use electronic locating devices, as-built drawings, maps and/or atlases to accurately mark the location of underground facilities Demonstrate familiarity with telecommunications, sewer, water, streetlight, and traffic signal facilities Prepare and submit backup documentation for each locate (documentation may include, but is not limited to, daily reports, locate tracking forms, and photos) Identify and record discrepancies on as-built drawings, maps, and/or atlases Observe active construction work and protect existing facilities QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid driver’s license Minimum of one (1) years of technical training or experience with electronic locating devices or telecommunications Ability to meet deadlines on multiple assignments/projects and operate with a sense of urgency Resolute and focused; able to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through to achieve project goals Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills, develop positive rapport with clients and colleagues at all organizational levels BENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days Vacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law. Pay Range: $22/hr-$27/hr

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
