In addition to comprehensive internal engine repair/overhaul, we also operate a world-class evaluation and testing facility that’s FEDEC capable. Role Overview: The NPI Engineer – Repair Industrialization will utilize expertise in manufacturing processes to support business goals and programs for aircraft engine component repair. This role involves developing and improving manufacturing processes, driving repair industrialization efforts, and collaborating across functions to ensure process control, stability, and conformance. The position requires technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and a strong foundation in aircraft engine technologies. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes to support aircraft engine component repair. Create and maintain manufacturing process instructions, equipment specifications, and tooling plans to ensure process control and stability. Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity improvement, and product quality enhancement. Drive repair industrialization efforts aligned with repair readiness levels, including tooling, planning, and equipment. Use technical expertise and data analysis to support recommendations and decision-making. Investigate, develop, and apply new technologies to improve repair processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineers, to deliver results and drive continuous improvement. Specify project needs, communicate approaches effectively, and present research outcomes to stakeholders. Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and established methods. The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem-solver with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. They thrive in a repair-focused environment, are adept at driving process improvements, and possess a passion for innovation and operational excellence. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Manufacturing). Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment Engineering. Ability to support off-shifts and weekends as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead small teams. Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Demonstrated analytical and organizational ability.
