Post-Graduate Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Residency Program Program Overview Brockton Neighborhood Health Center (BNHC) is proud to introduce its Post‑Graduate Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care Residency Program, launching in Fall 2026. This grant‑funded, full‑time residency was created in recognition of the growing complexity of primary care, and the essential role Nurse Practitioners play in closing the primary care provider gap. Designed for newly graduated Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Adult‑Gerontology Nurse Practitioners (AGNPs), this program provides a structured, supportive transition from graduate education to independent clinical practice. Program Structure Twelve (12) months of full‑time, paid postgraduate residency training Twelve (12) additional months of full‑time service employment at BNHC Salary and benefits provided in accordance with organizational policy and grant requirements Structured clinical mentorship and supervised primary care practice Opportunity for permanent employment as a Staff Nurse Practitioner Eligibility for loan forgiveness programs, where applicable Participation in the full two‑year employment commitment is a condition of program eligibility.
