NP/PA, Women's Health (Full-time)
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare's growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Long Beach, CA. This role will have a primary focus on Women's Health and include support for Primary Care services as needed. Practice Information & Position Details Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group 100% Outpatient Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm No after hours call Average 15 to 21 patients per day EMR: Epic Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.) See new OB patients Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in Women's Health or related field as a NP or PA
- California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
- Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
- Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current BLS
- NPI and DEA
Nice To Haves
- 3 years preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred
- Board certification in Women's Health (Preferred)
Responsibilities
