About The Position

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Urology Fargo, ND (32nd Avenue Campus) We are seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join our Urology Department, as we expand both our physician team and our current group of three experienced advanced practice clinicians. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a wide range of urologic conditions and complex surgical support. You will play an essential role in enhancing patient access, streamlining care coordination, and ensuring continuity and high-quality outcomes for our patient population. Work alongside an experienced and collaborative clinic nursing team, including a dedicated nurse navigator and comprehensive support for robust clinic-based procedures. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will utilize advanced assessment, clinical knowledge, and sound decision-making skills while practicing both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other health care professionals. The APP will focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and comprehensive care for individuals and families across the lifespan, in alignment with their area of expertise.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR
• National certification, in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
