NP/PA – Neurology Fargo, ND Become a vital part of our collaborative team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians providing exceptional patient-centered care in our growing Neurology Department. This is more than a career opportunity; this is a chance to be part of a pioneering force in Neurology throughout our communities. 1.0 FTE, full-time Monday - Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Call is inpatient Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with MD support and collaboration. General Neurology Department with the ability to focus on select patient populations. Patient Population consists of patients with diagnoses of – Migraine/Headaches, Concussion, Epilepsy, Dementia, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Disorders, Neuropathy Experienced Neurodiagnostic Services provided by our Neurodiagnostic team with the ability to complete EEGs both inpatient and ambulatory and EMGs. Volumes: Inpatient: 2-4 consults per day with daily follow-up and rounding Outpatient: 10-15 patients per day The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Position requires a high level of patient-centered skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR.
• National certification in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
