About The Position

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
Provide comprehensive care to gynecologic oncology patients with varying acuity and diagnoses.
Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments of oncology patients with acute health issues from cancer and cancer therapies (surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy)
Perform history and physical, pre-operative visits, & post-operative visits.
Discuss role and side effects of chemotherapy with patients and their family, manage and modify chemotherapy treatment plans, and obtain chemotherapy signing privileges.
Perform in office biopsies and procedures. Provide post-op wound care.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide consistent high-quality care to our patients in active treatment or active surveillance setting.
Effectively communicate with team members, patients, and families.

Requirements

• If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
• If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
• State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
• Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Family; Women’s Health.
• Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active PA board certification
• Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
• Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
