About The Position

This position is for a compassionate, energetic, and responsible individual dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centric care within an orthopaedic sports medicine academic service. The role involves treating patients independently in an office setting and serving as a first assistant in the operating room.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Valid state license.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of related clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients independently in an office setting and serves as a first assistant in the operating room.
• Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
• Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested.
• Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintains and reviews patient’s records, charts and other pertinent information.
• Participates in research projects and educational projects.
• Performs related work as required.
