About The Position
Johnson City Medical Center is seeking NP's or PA's to join a progressive, growing Trauma/Critical Care/General Surgery team. Johnson City Medical Center is looking to fill a full-time position in the Trauma Program. Johnson City Medical Center is part of Ballad Health, an integrated healthcare system serving 29 counties of Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Northwest North Carolina and Southeast Kentucky. Our system has 815+ physicians and advanced practitioners and was created to improve the health of the people we serve. Ballad Health operates a family of 21 hospitals, including a dedicated children’s hospital, community hospitals, three critical access hospitals, a behavioral health hospital, an addiction treatment facility, long-term care facilities, home care and hospice services, retail pharmacies, outpatient services and a comprehensive medical management corporation. Candidates should have Surgical, Critical Care, ED, other surgical specialties experience other than during. Experience is preferred.

- Evaluating trauma patients in the emergency department
- Doing procedures
- Assisting in the operating room
- Managing trauma patients in the ICU and the floor
- Split coverage between trauma ICU/ trauma floor patients
