About The Position

The Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Trauma APP team across Premier Health's trauma-affiliated facilities. This role includes direct clinical care, support for day-to-day operations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure excellence in trauma care delivery, quality, compliance, and provider development. The APP Manager works in partnership with physician leadership, hospital administration, and implements service line objectives, standardizes workflows, and supports system-wide initiatives. This individual also maintains clinical practice within the trauma team, modeling high standards of care and professionalism.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Active and unrestricted Ohio licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Certification from a nationally accredited certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
• Current CPR and ACLS certification (ATLS preferred or required depending on institutional policy).
• 3 - 5 years of job related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma system regulations, quality programs (e.g., TQIP), and clinical operations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
• Ability to manage change and resolve conflict constructively.
• Proven leadership in fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
• Committed to professional development and high-quality patient care.
• Experience with trauma workflows, registries, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to all organizational policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinical leadership or management experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Preferred working 5 years in an acute care setting with a minimum of 3 years' experience as an APP in clinical practice
