The Department of Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon at the late Assistant or Associate Professor level to serve in a unique leadership role as the Physician Lead of an established Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Program (HVIP). The Turning the Tide Violence Intervention Program ( https://muschealth.org/medical-services/emergency/trauma/turning-the-tide ) began in 2021, and is nationally recognized for its service to patients, research, innovation and leadership.
