About The Position

With a multidisciplinary team approach, this provider will promote a collaborative relationship between providers, professional nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure continuity of patient care and related issues as well as to develop expertise in the field of early detection and diagnostics for those at risk of cancer or with a high suspicion of cancer. Within this role, the advanced practice provider will be responsible for a panel of patients in collaboration with the early detection team. Other responsibilities include caring for patients throughout their continuum of care and fostering collaboration with other professionals within the hospital and clinics to facilitate patient care. The early detection APP will work with the team to further develop this center and to further focus on decreasing cancer morbidity and mortality through the work around designing, testing, and implementing early cancer detection and diagnostic technologies.
