About The Position

As a telephone operator, you will be the voice and ears of our company. You will answer and direct (transfer) incoming calls. When needed, our operator takes and sends detailed messages.

Requirements

  • Great communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills that are customer service focused
  • Proficient computer skills including Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel), e-mail and automated billing systems.
  • Ability to use all necessary office equipment, facsimile machines, calculator, postage machine, copiers, etc.
  • High School Diploma - required
  • Experience in reception duties in a high-volume environment
  • Bilingual – English – Spanish - required
  • Abilities in planning, multi-tasking, and organizing,
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to speak / project clearly and distinctly, and with friendly and courteous tone
  • Ability to use listening skills to put callers at ease and obtain accurate and complete information
  • Ability to think out-side of the box and anticipate the needs of the callers and co-workers
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple calls at one time
  • Ability to stay calm and collected
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Ability to problem solve
  • A professional demeanor with a willingness to help
  • Experience is a fast-paced deadline-driven office
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Attendance onsite mandatory
  • Ability to maintain work schedule and handle stamina throughout the day with work flow
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adjust to changing requirements, and stress
  • Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder
  • Continuous use of hands for keyboarding and data entry

  • Healthcare industry experience - preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing reason for calling, and resolving issue by contacting appropriate person that can help the customer.
