Experience / Qualifications Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). 5+ years of clinical experience in the field of echocardiography required with experience performing structural heart procedures and pediatric echocardiography preferred. 2+ years of supervisory experience in the field of echocardiography preferred. Proficiency in CPACS, EPIC EMR, and advanced ultrasound equipment. Knowledge of EKG/EEG interpretation and Cardiac Rehab monitoring systems. BLS Certification for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association ACLS Certificaton from American Heart Association, preferred Position Summary Under the immediate direction of the Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services and within established hospital and department policies and procedures, the Non-Invasive Cardiology Manager provides strategic leadership and clinical oversight for the non-invasive cardiology departments (Echocardiography, EKG, EEG) and the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program. As a working manager, this individual ensures the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging and rehabilitative care while maintaining regulatory compliance. This role requires a high-level Echo Sonographer capable of mentoring staff and supporting complex structural heart and pediatric cases. Duties include but are not limited to: Departmental Oversight: Manage daily operations for Echo, EKG, and EEG suites, ensuring efficient patient flow and staffing. Cardiopulmonary Rehab Leadership: Oversee the initial 36-week program and transitional exercise programs, focusing on individualized plan development, nutritional counseling, and risk reduction. Clinical Excellence: Act as a subject matter expert in Echocardiography; perform and review complex 2D, M-Mode, Color Flow, and Doppler studies as needed. Structural & Pediatric Support: Provide specialized technical guidance for structural heart procedures (e.g., TEE for TAVR/Watchman) and pediatric echocardiograms. Quality & Compliance: Maintain accreditation standards (e.g., ICAEL) and ensure all neurodiagnostic (EEG) and cardiac testing meets American Heart Association and hospital protocols. Financial Management: Manage department budgets, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance contracts. Effectively uses and role models current leadership techniques and theories, encouraging the decision-making skills of staff members and providing insight and leadership in complex situations. Ensures that information disseminated to staff is monitored for effectiveness and changed as needed. Understands and enforces hospital and personnel policies and procedures. Serve on hospital and Patient Care Services committees, teams, and work groups as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements
