About The Position

Responsible for administration and management of the finance portfolio transactions process related to NDFI customer relationships. Establishes and enforces borrowing limits based on borrowing base qualifications.. Administers and manages an assigned client base by managing borrowing bases, set borrowing limits, interface with clients pertaining to borrowing availability. Responsible for the collateral intake and release process specific to an assigned client base. Responsible for appraisal review, evaluation and decisioning in support of borrowing base pledge process. Decisions and executes client fund movements including loan advances, loan repayment, internal depository transfers and wire origination. Responsible for the collection of client portfolio reports and oversee monthly borrowing base certification process for assigned portfolio. Consistently provides proactive solutions and problem resolution for clients and peers. Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent (GED) Required
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 year of experience in Banking/Finance or other equivalent work experience. Required.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills; strong attention to details.
  • Strong organizational, accountability, adaptability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage internal and external customer relationships.
  • Team oriented with ability to function in a rapidly moving environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and client services skills
  • Professional, high-quality customer service skills while providing assistance for clients on all bank products and services.
  • Self-starter with willingness to accept additional responsibilities as opportunities arise.
  • Ability to develop understanding of complex relationships in commercial banking.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, FIS and other bank software platforms.

  • 1-3+ years NDFI experience or other relevant work experience. Preferred.
