About The Position

The Non CDL Driver I is a delivery position responsible for driving a company vehicle limited to a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 14,900. The position will be assigned stops to deliver foodservice products with a high level of service to customers. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations
No DUI convictions in the past three years
No driver’s license suspensions in the past three years
Must be able to pass DOT physical

Nice To Haves

Commercial or professional driving experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year of multi-stop delivery experience or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience

Responsibilities

Deliver best-in-class Customer Service
Deliver customer’s orders to meet scheduled delivery times and keep productivity
Unload products and place items in customer storage area
Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
Make frequent stops during a work shift
Deliver product in inclement weather conditions
Verify delivery of items with customers
Collect money (cash or checks) where needed
