Requirements

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Ability to work independently and make critical clinical decisions overnight
• Comfortable working in a rural or community-focused setting

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospitalist or inpatient settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight hospital coverage (typically 7 PM – 7 AM)
• Admit and manage inpatient cases from the Emergency Department
• Respond to urgent and emergent patient care needs
• Stabilize patients and coordinate care with nursing and ED teams
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards
