About The Position

Mosaic Technologies is currently looking for a NOC Technician I to join our growing team. The NOC Technician I serves as Tier 1 technical support for Mosaic’s internal and external customers, resolving or escalating technical matters to ensure minimal downtime. Additionally, this position is responsible for troubleshooting, provisioning, providing support to the IT team, and working across departments to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of applications such as e-mail, Microsoft Office, project management software.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments while paying close attention to detail.
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions using information at hand.
  • Skill in reading and interpreting technical documents and information.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • High school diploma plus 2 years additional technical experience preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Calix systems highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate trouble tickets, enter and communicate trouble information, and initiate follow-up on needed repairs.
  • Process telephone porting requests for residential and commercial customers.
  • Provision residential and commercial orders and prepare equipment for installs.
  • Test new services, hardware, and products.
  • Complete audits, track outages, schedule upgrades and updates.
  • Provide provisioning support to the IT department and field technicians.
