About The Position

What You’ll Do: Monitor infrastructure, network, and application alerts using approved monitoring tools Acknowledge, triage, and document incidents in the ticketing system Perform basic validation and troubleshooting steps using runbooks Escalate unresolved or higher-severity issues to senior NOC or engineering teams Support scheduled maintenance windows and routine operational tasks Maintain accurate ticket notes and shift handoff documentation Follow standard operating procedures and security guidelines What You’ll Deliver: Timely acknowledgement and routing of alerts and incidents Clear, accurate, and consistent ticket documentation Reliable adherence to escalation paths and runbooks Effective communication during shift transitions Foundational operational support that contributes to overall service stability You’ll Thrive in This Role If You: Enjoy structured processes and working from defined procedures Have strong attention to detail and organization skills Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats Stay calm and methodical when responding to alerts or incidents Are comfortable working in a shift-based or 24/7 operational environment Are curious about infrastructure, networking, or systems operations and eager to learn Bonus Points: Exposure to monitoring or ticketing tools Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP, DNS, or TCP/UDP Familiarity with Windows or Linux environments Prior help desk, MSP, or technical support experience Entry-level technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) At Summit, our culture and core values are important to us.
