About The Position

VSolvit is looking for a Mid-level NMCI Specialist to join our Range Systems Engineering team in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, NAS Oceana, VA. As a Specialist on this project, you will be part of a team supporting an enterprise application. The ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues is important in all aspects of this role. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience with user support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance
US Citizenship Required
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Organizational and planning skills
Time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to accept oversight and instruction from mentors
Ability to track inventory items

Nice To Haves

Exceptional attention to detail
Experience working with the military and/or government
2+ years’ experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite applications
Experience in inventory tracking

Responsibilities

Support ACTR in coordinating and submitting NMCI/NGEN and Nautilus requirements for CLIN submission.
Track NCTE assets.
Maintain information on capabilities and processes in support of NMCI assets/networks.
Develop enterprise reporting tools and gather status and provide input to locations and possession of NMCI assets.
Manage regular tech refresh updates and coordinate asset distribution. Communicate with workforce and users on requirements and support capabilities.
Assist the ACTR in seat management for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.
Create NET user accounts.
Verify monthly NMCI costs.
Support NET ordering.
Prepare requests for local Moves/Adds/Changes.
