For more information about NJC, see the college web site at: http://www.njc.edu This position will be responsible for assisting the Head Soccer Coach with the day-to-day functions of the soccer team. Duties may also include recruiting, developing practice plans, coordinating travel, scheduling and other assignments as prepared by the head coach and/or athletic director. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, work well with others in a team setting, and possess knowledge and experience coaching soccer. Requirements

  • Associate's degree required, major in health, recreation, sports management or related field preferred.
  • Three letters of recommendation, a list of references is not accepted.
  • Demonstrated experience in effective communication with students and student athletes on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission of a comprehensive community college
  • Demonstrated commitment to career and professional development
  • Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license.
