About The Position

Founded in 1915, Julius Silvert, Inc. provides restaurants with the finest ingredients available. Located in Philadelphia, we are a family-owned food wholesale distribution company that primarily services the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions of the United States. Position Summary: Julius Silvert is seeking an experienced professional full-time Night Yard Manager. This role will be responsible for moving vans, trucks, and tractor-trailers to and from the yard and loading docks.

Requirements

• Must have professional driving experience
• CDL A License is a must
• Flexible with hours
• Clean driving record
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check

Responsibilities

• Safely move box trucks in the yard for loading, fueling, and cleaning
• Some paperwork required
• Conduct a DVIR mechanical inspection daily
• Physical body damage inspection daily
• Communicate with onsite mechanic nightly & report information
• Responsible for cleaning all trucks daily including power washing of truck boxes
• Other duties as assigned
