Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license issued by state of residence
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language — able to understand traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20–80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of six (6) months non-CDL commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck, trailer, and door assignments
• Keep assigned equipment coupled
• Move trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse Supervisor
• Load, unload, or merge loads between environments
• Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers
• Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets
• Place backhauls in correct doors to be unloaded by warehouse
• Ensure all equipment is paired and ready for next-day deliveries
• Work with mechanics nightly
• Attend required company meetings
• Perform all other duties as assigned
