Night Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
Johnson Brothers, a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry. We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our 2nd Shift/evening warehouse team. The Warehouse Supervisor manages order selection, shipping, receiving, and other basic warehouse activities, in addition to managing personnel to ensure that all necessary functions are performed. Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent (college a plus)
- 3 -5 years of supervisory experience
- Must be able to work assigned hours, Sunday-Thursday at 5:00pm - until
- Salary range: $65,000.00 DOE
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
- Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct workflow and performance of employees
- Monitor employees productivity and accuracy to ensure efficiency
- Motivate and train employees
- Enforce compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures and rules
- Maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Screen and provide input on hiring warehouse personnel
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with OSHA standards
- Other duties as assigned
