About The Position

The Night Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all the functions of the warehouse and ensuring smooth operations of all activities. An individual of this profile also requires handling and managing warehouse workers and adhering to necessary safety and legal procedures of working. The position of the Warehouse Supervisor is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 in any one work week.

Requirements

Knowledge of the safety documentation processes for handling related warehousing activities.
Should have excellent leadership and administration skills and abilities.
Strong motivational skills and effective team-building capabilities.
Ability to effectively manage time, resolve crises, and decision making.
Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company.

Responsibilities

Supervising the functions and working of the all-warehouse workers.
Delegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the working of staff.
Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures of working.
Managing the inventory monitoring cycle counts and conducting audits of the same to validate results.
Validates all out-of-stock items.
Supervising proper shift allocations and ensuring the efficiency of all warehouse staff.
Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
Responsible for compliance with OSHA’s forklift and observation training.
Able to operate a forklift, reach truck, and an electric pallet jack.
Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
Effectively communicates all shift issues to the appropriate parties.
Maintains a clean safe working environment.
