Night Shift Plant Operator
About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure efficient production and safety compliance Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment performance Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement and operational goals
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical processes
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Capable of standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate equipment and perform inspections
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by site safety standards
