About The Position

Night Shift Fleet Automotive Technician Transdev in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Night Shift A - Level Fleet Automotive Mechanic to bolster our team. This position is for our Night shift hours of 11pm to 7:30am. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive engines across various vehicles and equipment. As an A-Level Fleet Automotive Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our assets. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package of minimum $23.00 – Maximum $30.00 $2.00 shift differential offered. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.
  • CDL Driver's License required.
  • ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
  • Mechanic’s Tool Set
  • Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on engines.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
  • Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.
