The McWane Ductile team is proud of this achievement in recognition of our world class safety practices and procedures.Job Summary:Assist the Maintenance Supervisors with the coordination of cleanup and maintenance activities. Pay rate between $75,000 to $85,000.This position requires a hands-on leader who can maintain efficiency, ensure compliance, and foster a safe and productive work environment.McWane Ductile is a Drug and Alcohol-Free work environment. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Moderate mechanical aptitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory experience.
Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Communicate with casting leadership specific issues on cleaning certain areas of machines.
Ensure all machines are clean and ready for production time startups. EX. Puller beds, machine beds, ladle areas, around machine walkways, and walkways between puller areas. Ensure up and over is clean.
Ensure ladles are on machines in a timely manner.
Communicate with the hot, cement, paint lines leadership ongoing issues that need to be addressed.
Follow cleanup check sheets and hand to finishing department on a nightly basis.
Communicate all work orders in a timely manner found in finishing departments.
Coordinate with maintenance manager and supervisor when issues arise of certain tasks on machines
Communicate work orders in a timely fashion if found and not on the schedule with the maintenance department.
Assist in signing LOTO forms.
Complete monthly safety requirements.
Report daily on work deficiencies, staff, equipment issues, challenges, etc.
Ensure PMs are completed with accuracy and integrity
Handles issues and resolves conflicts.
Trains new or existing employees on job procedures
Completes daily maintenance reports.
Enforces safety, union and company policy and procedures.
Complete safety paperwork assigned to you from all departments that cannot be completed during production hours.
Facilitate daily staff Toolbox meetings with staff.
Manage completion of JSA, Pure Safety and Safety talks as required.
