About The Position

Responsibility for supervising the scheduling team. To lead and create a culture of quality and accurate information while managing and leading the daily operations of a team that is both local and remote. Schedule: 2-11pm Central Time on Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday. Off Tuesday and Wednesday. Supervisory experience, and Call Center Management Skills are required. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION Supervise the day to day functions of the Scheduling Department and is the key contact for internal management as well as hospital administration. Coordinate all schedules as needed in an assigned market. Schedule relief cases as needed. Confirm and send schedules to teams in an assigned market. Monitor the quality performance of the department. Determine and implement solutions for any deficiencies in service levels. Confirm/Coordinate call schedules, vacation schedules, PTO or other as needed. Lives the SpecialtyCare Values – Integrity, Care, Urgency, and Improvement. Other duties as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education: · Associate’s degree in a related field. Experience: Three (3) - (5) years of experience in a business office function. Equivalent education and experience. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word. Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely. Ability to deal with others in an antagonistic situation. Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures. Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task. Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal. Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals. Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task. Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own drive or initiative. Ability to show consideration for and maintain good relations with others. Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
