About The Position

As our Night Auditor, you’ll be the calm, capable presence overseeing the hotel during overnight hours. You’ll balance and reconcile daily financial activity, keep essential reports organized and accurate, and handle guest service responsibilities such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and switchboard support. You’ll ensure our day starts smoothly—because every great morning begins with an excellent Night Auditor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or a related field preferred
  • Guest service experience strongly preferred
  • Solid computer skills required
  • Overnight / late-night availability
  • Ability to remain seated or at a desk for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs
  • Maintains a warm, welcoming attitude—even at 2 AM
  • Communicates clearly (written and verbal) with guests and team members
  • Listens actively and resolves concerns with care
  • Thrives in a multitasking environment
  • Shows initiative and anticipates needs
  • Maintains confidentiality and professional appearance
  • Has excellent problem-solving skills
  • Can cross-train in other departments as needed

Responsibilities

  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, wake-up calls, and switchboard operations
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and address guest requests promptly and professionally
  • Reconcile and audit daily financial transactions across Front Desk and Food & Beverage
  • Prepare, verify, and distribute daily and monthly reports (Operating Reports, Discount Logs, Tax Reports, etc.)
  • Consolidate and transmit credit card batches nightly
  • Ensure accuracy of all figures and statistics
  • Input and update financial data in corporate systems
  • Keep management informed of unusual events or policy deviations
  • Support safe and efficient hotel operations in accordance with company standards
  • Attend required meetings and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
