About The Position

As our Guest Services Agent , you’ll be the first point of contact for all our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable throughout their stay. From checking in guests to answering questions and solving problems, your role is crucial to creating a positive guest experience. Plus, you’ll play a key role in maximizing room occupancy and revenue while promoting hotel services.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer experience is a must
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and carry up to 10 lbs
  • Flexible hours based on hotel needs (including weekends and holidays)
  • Always maintains a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Is a clear communicator —both verbal and written
  • Loves helping people and solving problems
  • Can juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Is passionate about delivering top-notch guest service
  • Pays attention to detail and stays organized

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework in a related field is a plus
  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly check-in experience
  • Handle guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously
  • Provide information on dining, transportation, entertainment, and hotel amenities
  • Assist with safe deposit boxes and ensure guests’ packages and messages are delivered
  • Operate the PBX console and maintain communication with other departments via two-way radios
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and promotions
  • Process reservations and handle cancellations, ensuring accurate rate quoting
  • Perform closing duties at the end of your shift, including balancing paperwork
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and uphold high standards of appearance
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Participate in required meetings and trainings
  • Assist with cross-training in other hotel departments as needed
  • Take initiative to anticipate guest and operational needs
