About The Position

The Washington House Hotel seeks reliable, passionate people to join our hotel team. Staff at The Washington House take pride in offering genuine hospitality and top notch cleanliness with careful attention to detail. We are looking for candidates who are confident, self motivated, and have a sincere desire to make each guest's stay special. We are looking to fill a part time position, approximately 10-20 hours/week.

Requirements

Comfortable using stairs
Submit to a background check and drug test
Reliable transportation to & from work
Basic computer skills to navigate our property management software
Ability to stay awake overnight during working hours

Responsibilities

Prepare room keys for incoming hotel guests.
Answer front desk phone for in-house guest requests and incoming calls; take reservations.
Check in late arrivals and show them to their rooms
Attend to any guest needs throughout the night (requests for ice, coffee, etc)
Prepare billing for guests who are departing in the morning and slip receipt under their door.
Complete billing, prepare daily close out
Clean up hotel lounge after late night guests, light cleaning in offices
Collect and prepare breakfast orders for housekeeping staff to deliver during breakfast hours
Communicate any upcoming guest requests to morning housekeepers
