About The Position

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, this position in Carlsbad, CA, supports Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) manufacturing operations within a controlled laboratory and cleanroom environment. The team is dedicated to producing high-quality reagents and kits that facilitate advanced genomic research and diagnostics globally. The role involves directly contributing to the production of NGS products by executing manufacturing processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The work is crucial for the timely delivery of tools that empower customers to advance scientific discovery and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP/ISO guidelines accurately
  • Ability to operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced production environment
