About The Position

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Manage the Next Steps Team which includes: Baptism, Growth Track and Guest Services. Lead, build, and train teams to execute all aspects of Next Steps Team for weekend & special event services. Oversee all aspects but not limited to Growth Track classes, Baptism classes and New faith classes such as Starting Point. Manage and ensure the integrity of data for Lakeside Church through the People platform in the Planning Center system. Manage Clearstream text message communications related to Next Steps. Conduct weekly data analysis, focusing on identifying trends and areas for improvement. Provide leadership with feedback and recommendations based on Lakeside’s vision and performance metrics. Oversee and support the implementation of Studio C, our engagement platform designed to guide people toward their next step, while collaborating closely with Communications and Creative to ensure successful adoption and alignment across all ministries. Develop and implement new systems and strategies to achieve departmental objectives. Oversee, maintain, and refine Lakeside's assimilation systems, such as the Green, Yellow, and Red Zones, ensuring department accountability. Manage workflow cards and related reports. Handle follow-up communications with 1st and 2nd-time guests, salvations, and baptisms. Supervise departmental administration, including maintaining and creating data collection tools as needed. Continuously seek ways to improve engagement metrics related to Next Steps. Other Duties and Responsibilities Communicate to the departments regarding meetings, report changes, assimilation updates, etc. Conduct research at other large churches regarding their approach to your area of ministry. Other duties as assigned by Executive or Department Leader. Ability to articulate and implement the vision and culture of the Lakeside Church. Manage all communication and planning for “Plan Your Visit” guests

Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of administrative and customer service skills developed.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in MS Office. Excel proficiency required. Project software experience/knowledge preferred.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for the Lakeside Vision.
  • Ability to recruit, lead and equip leaders to lead successful teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from various backgrounds.
  • Proficient with Planning Center On-Line (PCO) preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience serving with volunteers.
  • Proven ability to build and train volunteer team.
