NEXCOM Business Process Analyst – Senior, Program Support Location: Herndon, VA or Bowie, MD Job Description: The Business Process Analyst – Senior will assist the FAA’s Planning and Requirements Group (PRG), providing technical support to field engineering teams and coordination and tracking with the PRG and Engineering Services (ES). This role will interface with the client’s points of contact Peraton resources, and vendor field technical teams, installing air to ground radio equipment, in adherence to the client’s Generic Site Implementation Plan (GSIP) and other technical requirements. The role will be responsible for identifying process improvements and mechanisms to increase efficiency and reduce operating conflicts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile-based requirements definition, process modeling, and trade-off studies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, 12 years in lieu of degree
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Strong experience in requirements definition, system decomposition, system modeling (e.g., Model-Based Systems Engineering - MBSE), and trade-off studies.
  • Proven technical leadership ability, including providing direction, facilitating working groups, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as SysML, UML, and CAD.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting military or federal communication systems (optional depending on context).
  • Familiarity with GSIP processes and field site implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical reviews with PMO and vendors.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field teams.
  • Assist in training coordination and tracking with PMO and ES.
  • Interface with field technical teams to review GSIPs and site implementation aspects.
  • Facilitate working groups and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
