KLTV is seeking a talented Multimedia Journalist/Producer. This role is suitable for individuals currently working as a Producer who may be looking to transition into on-air work. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and verifying information, investigating leads, pitching stories, shooting and editing, writing, producing, and reporting material for broadcast and digital products on all platforms. This position specifically includes Saturday and Sunday morning production.
Requirements
- Professional video camera and professional non-linear editing knowledge
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
Nice To Haves
- A journalism degree or similar is preferred
- Producing or Reporting experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Co-Producing Saturday and Sunday morning newscasts with an anchor/producer
- Working as an MMJ Monday-Wednesday, also on the morning shift. (Schedule is subject to change.)
