FOX 6 News is searching for a motivated and eager producer to support our newscasts. RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you’ll primarily support the flow of our morning newscasts and help bring stories to life. Responsibilities include writing and editing scripts, assisting with show preparation, and helping producers execute daily broadcasts. You may be called to fill in on other newscasts as needed and provide general production support. You’ll also assist with booking, coordinating and supporting guests both on-air and behind the scenes. This position requires strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a deadline driven environment.

Requirements

college degree (preferably in Journalism)
strong writing and communication skills
the ability to work under pressure
a positive team-oriented attitude

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with newsroom systems or editing software
