About The Position

KOMO/KUNS News has an open position for a paid internship focusing on creating multi-platform content with the KOMO Sports team. The 12-week Summer internship will be ideal for candidates who love Pacific Northwest sports and are passionate about storytelling. You'll work closely with our Sports Director to generate unique and compelling content on the many sports stories and stars of the PNW!

Requirements

• Current students, recent graduates, and graduate students are eligible.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail are a must.
• Must show internship is approved by University upon hiring.
• Students entering their junior or senior year, or a graduate program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create multi-platform content with the KOMO Sports team.
• Work closely with the Sports Director to generate unique and compelling content.
• Engage with Pacific Northwest sports stories and stars.
