New Student Orientation Leader (PT)
About The Position
New Student Orientation Leaders will work with TCC staff members to facilitate orientation programs by: Making contacts with students before, during, and after orientation. Welcoming new students to the TCC community. Giving presentations to new students and their family members Assisting in the preparation of orientation activities and materials. Explaining academic opportunities and procedures. Acquainting new students with campus services and building locations. Aiding in the development of class schedules. Assisting with the class registration process. Upholding all aspects of the TCC student conduct code.
Requirements
- Creative personality who enjoys working with all groups.
- Current TCC student or recent graduate within the past two years.
- Strong interest in helping students and parents learn more about TCC.
- Comfortable presenting in front of others, facilitating conversations, and making phone calls.
- Work well as a member of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a successful TCC student preferred.
