Reporting to the Clinical Program Manager and in partnership with the Nurse Coordinator, is the first point of contact for all newly diagnosed medical oncology and hematology patients referred to a Smilow Care Center. The incumbent in this position serves as a liaison among and between referring physician offices, patients and staff to ensure that all required information for new patient intake is received and shared in a timely manner and that initial consultations are scheduled as prioritized by the Nurse Coordinator and physician. Utilizes a variety of information systems to schedule patients and process relevant patient data; performs a variety of associated general clerical functions. Demonstrates outstanding customer service in all interactions with patients, providers and staff. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran
