During this role, the Sales Associate will learn and perform the duties of a Sales Consultant with the goal of being able to independently assume Sales Consultant responsibilities within 6–12 months. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a professional, supportive, and customer-focused attitude.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role or related area within the real estate industry.
  • Active Florida Real Estate License required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with strong numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow supervisory direction and company procedures.
  • Willingness to accept and apply constructive feedback.
  • Team-oriented with a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Consultant in day-to-day sales activities.
  • Provide onsite coverage in the Sales Consultant’s absence, including days off.
  • Obtain a Florida Real Estate License within six (6) months of hire (reimbursed by the company).
  • Learn and master the company’s structured selling process through a 4–6 month mentorship program.
  • Conduct cold calling and maintain ownership of assigned leads.
  • Build and maintain Realtor relationships and attend Realtor events.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to host and support community events.
  • Conduct community meetings assigned.
  • Walk and inspect model homes, sales centers, inventory, and communities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in managing the sales backlog, including initiating and maintaining communication with home buyers.
  • Utilize company systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare and write sales contracts for prospective homebuyers.
  • Attend and assist with Deep Dive meetings and detailed Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs).
  • Attend all construction walks and 30-day warranty walkthroughs.
  • Complete the Sales Consultant (SC) training program within the first three (3) months.
  • Crosstrain with the Internet Sales Team and work active shifts as scheduled.
  • Shadow preferred lenders on weekends while working directly with customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Manager (DM), Director of Sales (DOS), Area Sales Manager (ASM), Casa and West Bay Corporate Leadership, and Sales Consultants within the assigned community.
  • Assigned community may vary on a monthly basis.
