About The Position
Our Med Tele Surgical Unit is a 36-bed facility that caters to a diverse array of patients, including those with conditions such as stroke, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, orthopedic issues, digestive problems, and general surgery needs. As a designated Pathway to Excellence facility, we are proud to be Atrium Health's first new hospital in over 20 years, now approaching our fourth anniversary. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skill communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Atrium Health Union West has 40 acute care licensed beds, 3 operating rooms, 8 bed L&D, 4 bed ICU, 36 bed med/surg, imaging services, including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound and more, and Laboratory and pharmacy services. Facility based ED 10 beds (1 trauma bay) Pharmacy, Lab, EVS, Respiratory Therapy, Clinical Case Management and Radiology on Site Pathway to Excellence Accredited organization Strong focus on a culture of compassion, experience, safety, quality, and belonging Meeting stretch goals for teammate engagement and satisfaction
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
