We are filling New Grad RN Resident positions at South Pointe Hospital on NIGHT shift and DAY/NIGHT rotating shifts. Day/Night: 7:00am - 7:30pm / 7:00pm - 7:30am Nights: 7:00pm - 7:30am Units include: 6th Floor - Med Surg/Tele/Stroke 7th Floor - Med Surg/Observation 9th Floor - Med Surg/PCU Please apply and complete our pre-screen questions to be considered for a role. As a New Grad RN Resident on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability). Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients’ medical records.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• New graduate or less than one year of RN work experience OR if experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
