About The Position

The Ahuja Medical Center Intensive Care Unit is a 14 bed unit that cares for high acuity patients with a 1:1 or 1:2 Nurse to Patient ratio. This unit utilizes intervention for their care of patients such as VATS, ECMO, IMPELLA, Arctic Sun, and Balloon Pumps. Patient populations for this unit may include those who require cardiothoracic surgery, Ablations and Wedge Resections, and patients who have had STEMI’S, CVA’s requiring TPA, and all other medically unstable patients requiring intensive monitoring for positive outcomes. Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
