At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate team, you will work on launch vehicles, space vehicles, and launch facility systems for New Glenn. This critical role supports regulatory compliance and launch approval coordination efforts on the NG program with the US Space Force Space Launch Deltas 45 and 30, FAA Air Traffic Organization, US Coast Guard, and international government partners as required. You will provide leadership in ensuring critical safety products are coordinated effectively to ensure New Glenn program schedules are met. To be successful in this role, you will develop and maintain positive relationships across the New Glenn program and our US government partners at the US Space Force, FAA ATO, FAA AST, USCG, and others. You must be proactive in planning sophisticated products across many technical subject areas while also developing, delivering, and communicating results in support of safety compliance efforts. Lastly, you must have the resourcefulness and flexibility to perform at a high-level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be an incredible team member!
