About The Position

Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe is hiring a New Car Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for motivated professionals who enjoy working with people and want to build a career in automotive sales. In this role, you will work with customers in person, online, and by phone to help them find the right vehicle and guide them through the purchase process. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience preferred (retail, hospitality, business development, etc.)
  • Automotive sales experience is helpful but not required; training is provided
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, and dealership software
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Bilingual candidates are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet showroom guests and learn about their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget
  • Recommend vehicles that best fit the customer’s lifestyle and requirements
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, technology, and performance during test drives
  • Use a consultative sales approach to guide customers through the vehicle selection process
  • Suggest additional packages, accessories, and options that enhance the vehicle ownership experience
  • Work with customers and dealership staff to overcome objections and finalize deals
  • Assist customers with completing purchase and financing paperwork
  • Deliver sold vehicles to customers and help set up vehicle technology and features
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Respond to phone and internet sales leads promptly and track activities in the CRM system
