New Car Sales Associate
About The Position
Join Southwest Michigan's Premier Import Dealership Maple Hill Auto Group is seeking a motivated New Car Sales Consultant to help customers find the right vehicle while building a successful career with our established, family-owned dealership. We've been serving the Kalamazoo community for 30 years, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to providing a positive, innovative automotive ownership experience driven by integrity, sincerity, and pride. People who excel in this role are individuals who are self motivated and enjoy connecting with many different types of people. If you've worked in and enjoyed other high end or intangible retail like phones, jewelry, electronics, high end or boutique clothing, realty, or other retail fields, you may be a great fit for this role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Authorization to work in the US and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Customer service or sales experience preferred but not required
- Professional approach to customer service
- Ability to listen to customer needs and present appropriate solutions
- Strong communication skills and reliable work ethic
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales processes
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive sales experience
- Previous high end or intangible retail experience
- Bilingual capabilities
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and help them find vehicles that meet their needs and budget
- Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits
- Work with customers through the sales process from initial contact to delivery
- Maintain knowledge of our brands: Audi, VW, Subaru, Hyundai, Volvo, and Genesis
- Collaborate with sales team and management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep showroom and lot areas clean and organized
- Handle required paperwork and coordinate with other departments
